Welcome to NetLearn System
NetLearn consists of two main modules: Community Mining and Expertise
Finding.
The Community Mining Module consists of two submodules: Author Mining
and Keyword Mining.
The Expertise Finding Module consists of four submodules: Local Author,
Keyword Community, Interest Community, and Referral Chain.
In each submodule, learners can interact with the visualisations of networks by
clicking, zooming in or out, dragging with left or right click mouse, and changing the layout of the graph.
- Author Mining
Learners will be able to see the co-authorship graph by year and the result of centrality measures for each author. The co-authorship graph of all publication years is endued with edge-betweenness clustering method. - Keyword Mining
Learners will be able to find communities around certain keywords. The detailed publication information within these communities will also be shown. - Local Author
Learners will be able to see the local network of a selected author, the result of centrality measures, and the publication information. - Keyword Community
Learners will be able to locate communities using a specific keyword as well as keywords associated to the entry keyword. - Interest Community
Learners will be able to see a co-authorship graph based on learners' entry. - Referral Chain
Learners will be able to see the path between two authors if they are connected to each other. Learners can also see the overlapping of the local networks of the selected authors.
